The Block Inbound Calls feature lets administrators build a blacklist of numbers or number patterns that Ringingo automatically rejects before they enter any routing flow. Blocked calls are dropped at the platform perimeter and never reach an IVR, queue, or agent. Use it for nuisance callers, known fraudulent numbers, or numbers that should never reach the contact centre.

Block list fields

Field	Description
Name	Internal label for the block rule.
Type	Type of value being blocked (Number, prefix pattern, etc.).
Value	The specific number or pattern to block.
Status	Toggle to enforce (Enable) or lift (Disable) the block.
Actions	Edit (pencil) or permanently delete (bin).

Create a block rule

Open the form

Click + Create Block Inbound Call.

Enter the block details

Set Name, Type, Value, and Status.

Fields

Field	Required	Description
Name	Yes	Descriptive label used only for admin identification.
Type	Yes	Number (specific phone number or extension) or other available patterns.
Value	Yes	The actual number, prefix, or pattern to block.
Status	Yes	Enable to enforce immediately.

Blocking an extension or number is immediate and silent. The blocked caller receives no notification. Verify the number or pattern carefully before enabling a block rule, as an incorrectly blocked number may prevent legitimate callers from reaching the contact centre.
